ELLIE MAY’S CORNER
I love it when it rains and the creek runs with water. What I don't get is all the commotion I get when I head for the couch after a splashing good time...

Today’s Harvest
So the Broccoli went crazy over Thanksgiving! You can’t turn your back on this stuff for a second! But I have to admit, we took a day or two off to eat some turkey. and some pie. Fortunately, everything on the farm did very well. And not checking in for even a day can be risky, as I’m learning. Mostly it’s the bug thing: So pesky, testing organic farmers daily. Maybe that’s why it’s so fulfilling when the crops reach it to maturity. POINT! Farmer!
Here are some of today’s picks. And actually, harvesting in the rain, in the cold, wasn’t nearly as bad as I was dreading it to be. Again, I think it goes back to just how rewarding it is to see these beautiful crops make it to fruition.
