Participating farms, all within walking distance of each other are Springdale Farm, Boggy Creek Farm, Hausbar Farm, and Rain Lily farm. Farm tours will begin on each farm at 1:15, 2:15, 3:15 and 4:15 with local Chef demonstrations and tastings as well as local wine, beer and spirits. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet your local farmers and see where you food can come from. Tickets are $35/person. Children under 12 are free.

Connect with East Austin’s historic agricultural past and celebrate its revival at the first annual East Austin Urban Farm tour Sunday, April 11th from 1:00-5:00 p.m. The self-paced tour will connect Boggy Creek, Rain Lily, Springdale, and HausBar Farms, where participants can walk the rows, visit chicken coops, get inspiration for growing, and enjoy cooking demos and tastes of local food right out of the fields, prepared by celebrated local chefs. Local creators and purveyors of wine, beer and spirits will be on hand with samples too!
Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door, and are available for advance purchase online at Farmhouse Delivery (www.farmhousedelivery.com, credit or debit cards only), at Boggy Creek Farm’s farm stand (Wednesdays and Saturdays 9:00-1:00, cash and check only), and at Eastside Café (cash, check, credit or debit cards).
All proceeds benefit the Farm and Ranch Freedom Alliance, an organization dedicated to protecting the rights and freedoms of independent farmers and ranchers.
