Community Supported Agriculture is for those committed members who pay a seasonal membership fee for a weekly supply of seasonal produce from our farm. This helps cover operation costs for seed, organic fertilizers, fuel, equipment, labor, greenhouse supplies, etc. The farm plans and works throughout the year to provide members with an equal share of produce on a weekly basis. The share of produce is available for pick-up every week during the growing season.
WHAT WILL MEMBERS RECEIVE?
Members receive on average 6 to 8 different types of vegetables and herbs each week. Our farm grows over 50 varieties each season; however, production is always dependent upon the weather. The share will generally supply a family of 4 for the week. Some couples without children may choose to share their box with another couple, or single person. A typical CSA member generally loves fresh vegetables and loves to try new things.
